Oquirrh Lake in Daybreak Utah is a fun urban spot to go out and try to catch a few bass. It's easy to walk the banks, and make casts because of the awesome trail system lining it. Fishing from a boat isn't allowed from what I've read, but you don't need one. Oquirrh lake is more like a skinny canal system than a lake.

Oquirrh Lake. Enjoy sunset walks on trails overlooking Daybreak's very own Oquirrh Lake. The lake is stocked with Bluegill, Rainbow Trout, and Large Mouth Bass. The bridges over the lake are 26 feet tall which is perfect for sailboats to sail under. Daybreak has boats available at The Beach Club for residents to take out on the lake.

The view reminds me of what you think of when you hear Switzerland/Holland, with it's snow capped mountains in the background, moving bodies of water, peaceful surrounding, the chilly air married to the shining sunset. There are homes being build, and observable businesses in the distance.
