'Sweet Thing' is a cultivated variety of our native Sweetbay Magnolia with a dwarf form that only reaches 8' in height with a 6′ spread. It is evergreen to semi-evergreen with a dense, compact growth habit that can be grown as a large, full shrub or a multi-stemmed small tree.
