Woodlyn Park is very near the Waitomo Gloworm Caves. There are not many resaurants nearby but the one recomended by the lady at the front desk called "Huhu Cafe" was excellent. There is a shop/restaurant called "The General Store" nearby that sold me a bottle of spring water for $6 so beware the overpriced snacks/drinks.
