The beach itself is not that impressive, quite stony and there was some building work going on whilst we were there. But it was quiet and what made it stand out was the sea, we spent ages wave jumping. Probably not enough to surf, but great fun.

Kourion beach is a long open beach with lots of sandy areas and some pebble beds. Much of the water is shallow and safe.. We've been to a couple of beaches during our stay in Western Cyprus, but Kourion was the best by far. It is close to Limassol, but Paphos is also in a 30 minutes drive.
